The County Administrator's Office was formed on January 1, 2021. Acting as the chief administrative, operating, and financial officer for the County, the Administrator is responsible for overall coordination and management of County functions. The Administrator serves under the direction of the County Board of Commissioners.
Services and Responsibilities:
- Advisor and agent of the County Board of Commissioners. Works with Commissioners to develop policy, and ensure that policies are carried out. Acts as clerk of the Board, managing the agenda preparation and completion of official meeting minutes.
- Directs day-to-day operations of the County, including supervision of appointed department heads and administrative and financial personnel.
- Directs and manages the human resources functions of the County.
- Coordinates the development of the annual County Budget; recommends budget and fiscal policy to the Board of Commissioners.
