The Lac qui Parle County Family Service Center has developed the biennial child Care Fund Plan, which includes the use of state and federally funding for child care assistance for the period of January 1, 2024 through December 31, 2025.
Public law requires that the intended use of these funds be available for review by the public and copies of the proposed state plan be made available to the public. This should include members of the public who may be particularly interested in child care policies such as parents, child care providers, culturally specific service organizations, child care resource and referral programs, interagency early intervention committees, potential collaborative partners and agencies involved in the provision of care and education to young children.
The public is given opportunity to comment on this plan during the review period from July 31, 2023 through August 31, 2023. Copies of the plan are available in our lobby during normal working hours. Questions and comments concerning the biennial child care fund plan or the intended use of child care assistance funds must be submitted in writing to:
