Lac qui Parle County Environmental Office would like to announce the upcoming event for Earth Week.
On Saturday, April 26th, Lac qui Parle County is hosting a free paper-shredding event for residents to dispose of unneeded paperwork, including identity-sensitive materials, safely and conveniently. Marcos Technologies will be on-site to provide confidential document destruction as you watch. This Paper Shredding Event will be held at the Lac qui Parle County Highway Garage in Madison from 10 am to 1 pm on April 26th. The truck will shred paper of all types, including boxes of bank checks, hard and soft cover books (including phone books), envelopes, file folders, notebooks, and hanging files. Paper clips and staples do not need to be removed. Materials not acceptable include anything wet, plastic, or three-ring binders.
