Special Item Collection - Saturday May 10th - 8 am to Noon

The Lac qui Parle County Special Item Collections are starting for the year! The LQP County Special Item Recycling Site will be open from 8 am to noon on the second Saturday of the month, starting May 10th.  This is a great opportunity for Lac qui Parle County residents to dispose of old appliances, tires, electronics, and bulbs!

 

Beginning Saturday, May 10th, and continuing through October 11th, electronics, appliances, tires, and bulbs may be disposed of at the site between the hours of 8 am and noon.  The collection is open to all Lac qui Parle County residents and businesses and accepts appliances, tires, and electronics for a small fee, and all bulbs are now FREE! 

 

The Special Item Recycling Site is located at 2462 241st Avenue, the former demolition landfill site, which is ¼ mile east of Madison on Highway 40 and then ½ mile north on 241st Avenue.
