One Saturday remains this year to dispose of electronics, bulbs, appliances, and tires at the LQP Special Item Recycling Site! If you still have waste to dispose of yet, Saturday, October 12th is the last day the recycling site will be open in 2024!
The collection is open to all Lac qui Parle County residents and businesses and accepts appliances, tires, and electronics for a small fee, and all bulbs are now FREE! The collection will be open on Saturday, October 12th from 8 am until noon.
The special item recycling site is the former demolition landfill site at 2462 241st Avenue, located ¼ mile east of Madison on Highway 40 and then ½ mile north on 241st Avenue.
